I'm looking for tutors specializing in reading and/or math. My kiddo is in third grade and just doesn't seem to "get it", especially when it comes to reading. She was diagnosed with ASD which might be the cause of her having difficulties in these subjects. She's completely functional and verbal; she just doesn't focus well, and I have no idea how to explain to her ways to read.... I've tried, but I'm afraid I just confuse her sometimes. We're in a small town and the school just doesn't provide the help she needs. I'm able to travel to a tutor if need be. She's sweet and respectful, but she gets frustrated and down on herself when she can't figure something out. If you're interested and think that you may be able to help, please let me know. Thanks!
