Think he just needs to gain a little confidence and learn how to study for math and he will be rolling. Hoping that a recurring one hour session will allow him to focus on his math (uninterrupted) and help him pick up problem solving skills. Looking for a tutor to help teach him: - High school math concepts - How to work through HW assignments and prep for exams - Problem solving and how to figure things out on his own after he receives guidance Thinking 1-2 one hours sessions per week will suffice, however flexible on this depending on progress.
