Position Summary: Engaging Minds, an after-school learning center focused on teaching executive function skills, is seeking tutors to work with students in grades 4-12 and College, one-on-one ONLINE or in person after school hours and/or on Sundays. Principle Responsibilities: -- Engaging Minds Instructors deliver 55-minute, one-on-one executive function coaching sessions focused on helping students to build the skills necessary to succeed in school. -- Learn and employ the various tools and strategies provided via Engaging Minds' methodology and training, which occurs at the start of employment and with ongoing learning and development. -- Post a summary of each session via the online portal, EMChatTM, within 24 hours of each session. For this job, we are only hiring from: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland General information: -- Competitive pay: $36 to start, merit-based increases -- No travel! All instruction takes place ONLINE or in our Newton, MA location. -- Scheduling is flexible and provides for opportunities to tutor multiple students back-to-back. -- Training is provided, coaching and mentoring via Learning Specialists is ongoing, and we provide opportunities for continued professional development. -- After training, no prep-work for sessions necessary. -- We match tutors with students carefully to match learning style and appropriate grade level. -- Session time: 55 minutes.
