The male sophomore student is a great kid who has fallen way behind due to personal circumstances. He lost his mom 5 yrs ago and is being raised by his elderly grandparents. This summer their house caught on fire and the family was displaced to an apartment where they will live until their home is restored in February. This poor kids grades plummeted last semester when he stopped doing his homework assignments. His grades have dropped and it is affecting his self confidence. He needs a positive supportive tutor who can give him directions.
