I have adopted a child whose second language is English. He will be starting the 9th grade in the autumn. I have had his reading tested and am told he is at the 6th grade level in both English and Spanish. His math and science seem to be on "grade level". Please note that I am abroad presently and will be unlikely to respond until January 7.
