Our son is Autistic but also highly intelligent. He's not very severe (level 1), but he's very defiant and it will likely take several sessions for him to warm up to someone. His previous teacher in the advanced program bullied him so he withdrew from participating at school. We're trying to get him back on track and give him the confidence he needs to participate again.
