We are seeking a kind and patient in-home tutor for our sweet first-grader, A, who has developmental delays. A needs support in reading (phonics, word recognition, comprehension) and early math (number sense, addition, subtraction). She also benefits from guidance in building social and emotional skills like self-awareness and relationship-building. Ideal candidates will have experience with children with developmental delays and a background in education or special education. Creativity, empathy, and the ability to adapt lessons to A needs are essential. The position is for two sessions per week, with flexibility on which days.
