We are seeking a tutor for homebound hospital support for a child with special needs. She spent 6 weeks in the hospital this fall for multiple surgeries. She is in 7th grade, majority of work in 1st-3rd grade level. She has IEP supports. We are looking for daytime tutoring/respite care support. Ideal candidate would have some training in special education, Wilson or Orton Gillingham reading instruction, and experience working with children with structured, explicit multisensory curriculum and highly structured environment. Tutoring will take place in our home in Lincoln Park. Pay rate negotiable based on experience.
