Looking For A Special Education Tutor In Ankeny.

Child is on autism spectrum, mainly presenting in rigid thinking along with some anxiety/depression., which has led to aversion to school. He's very high functioning and does well academically when comfortable, but he's fairly disinterested in school and is only doing the bare minimum. He is doing online public school through Iowa Connections Academy. We're looking for assistance in ensuring he's accountable to the schoolwork and that he's learning the material and not just going through the motions. His outside interests include Pokemon, Minecraft, and Dungeons & Dragons, and it would be great if we found someone who shared similar interests to make a stronger connection and build trust.
