Our perfect tutor will be patient, skilled at redirecting, motivating, creative and kind. We'd prefer someone with a degree in early childhood education with a concentration in a core study, but experience will always be considered. We are also open to college students pursuing a degree in a STEM major. My eldest is still grasping her alphabet and numbers, as well as writing. We are working on ASL and emotional intelligence as well. We want to get her as prepared, for school next year, as possible. My son's speech delay is more non conversational. However, he is growing in vocabulary and we want to make sure we nurture that. He is learning alongside his sister in the activities we do at home, but recognize that he needs his own one-on-one time. My eldest is 4 years old and she loves being artistic and creative. She also has a speech delay in which she can leave off the latter half of certain words. She learns best through taking small breaks after attempts, and reassurance. My son is 3 years old and he enjoys the technical side of things. He prefers a more individual approach and learning alongside instead of being 'told'. They both would require some flexibility in order for the lesson to really stick. They both like to learn about things in nature (mostly animals), cooking, life skills, art, science 'experiments', etc, Tutoring will happen in person. My home has parking available
