I have a 16-year-old son. He does well in athletics but his academic performance is suffering. He is currently taking Honors Chemistry, Geometry, and Psychology and has low C's in all. 70 - 73. I try to help him, but he refuses my assistance. Typical teenage behavior. He is very polite with other adults, although he is shy and does not ask for help like he should from his teachers. I hope an in home tutor may be worth trying at this point.
