My son is 11 in the 6th grade. He is one of the younger students in his grade and a little below grade level. He gets in school support with an IEP but 6th grade is proving to be huge learning curve and challenge. He is struggling with communication and completing his work. He has ADHD and is unmedicated but very well behaved, just needs a lot of step by step guidance. He tends to run out of time with his school work and is supposed to complete as homework but he often forgets to turn in his work on time or late.
