Merritt Island family needs a part-time tutor for Special Education, English, Math, Sports & Fitness, and Science. Must have Florida teaching certificate and become a provider for the Step Up for Students scholarship. This is a really great gig for a retired teacher, recent grad, or new mom (babies welcome!). Very flexible, come-and-go as needed, any days off, up to 35 hours per week. I need help homeschooling my special needs kiddos (ADHD, OCD, ODD, DMDD, Intellectual Disability). You will need to be okay with driving the kids around to appointments and outside lessons. We are a Christian family, but not super conservative. A background in special ed would be wonderful, but not necessary. Must agree to manage behaviors per our protocol. Fieldtrips including amusement parks and science/history. Fun, challenging work.
