About the job
Looking for a teacher/ tutor that will be in-person. I need a teacher that has a degree in the field they are teaching (or related field), so we can submit receipts to a scholarship for reimbursement. My teen is homeschooled, with an extremely high IQ as well as high functioning autism, social anxiety, and suspected ADHD. Her goal is to get into a competitive university for engineering. Though her goals are high, she shuts down under pressure and struggles to get her thoughts onto paper. We need someone that has an easy-going presence about them that will make her feel like these lofty academic goals are achievable. Note added by her: she can't understand people with a thick foreign accent.
