I'm looking for an afternoon counselor / tutor for my adult son, 20 hours a week. S is an easy-going guy with learning disabilities who enjoys going for long walks, trips to the beach, the library, and out for coffee. Although S developed real memory problems after a major bout with Lyme, he can still read, do math, Word Search puzzles, and food prep. - This is a tailored day program that takes place in the community. The right person doesn't need to have special ed training (although that's a bonus), but is someone skilled at drawing out their client's best.
