Our 15-year-old son is in 10th grade and doesn't do well in a traditional school setting. He has trouble focusing and doesn't see the value on school, so he's frustrated and doesn't try very hard. We're thinking about hiring someone to assist him one-on-one, so he can get through school. This may be assisting him with online classes or setting up a homeschooling type of environment. We're just investigating alternatives right now. Regular school just doesn't work for him. Aside from graduating from high school, we would love to see him gain self-confidence.
