Phoenix family needs a part-time tutor for Special Education. Specifically looking for reading tutoring using a structured program based in the science of reading. Son has diagnosis of Autism, though central auditory processing is greatest hurdle to language and reading. Some behaviors in inattention and frustration. Current school setting uses ABA model of working for a reward, responds well to first-then and clear list of items to complete before finishing. Looking for 1-2 times per week with guidance for what parents can practice on days without tutoring. I put an end date of March, but if things are working well and progress is being made then we would want to extend the time.
