(Mobile, AL) family seeking a teacher to homeschool two girls - a bright and curious 1st grader and 3rd grader. Must be enthusiastic about early elementary education and interested in following a daily routine that includes dedicated time for writing/spelling, reading, math, and lots of hands-on history/geography & science activities. Lots of bike rides, neighborhood exploration, and local excursions are strongly encouraged. Montessori experience is a bonus as our kiddos are accustomed to a Montessori environment and we have many Montessori inspired math, literacy, and cultural materials at our home for their use, as well as a Montessori-based curriculum outlined for the year.
