About the job
Our daughter is a childhood cancer survivor and a child with moderate autism. She has encountered numerous hospitalizations over her youth, and as a result of her autism diagnosis, she also has an intellectual disability with a learning age of 9 years, whereas she is physically 14 years old. I have been homeschooling her for two years, and I am searching for some assistance as she is becoming less interested in strictly homeschooling from yours truly. I will also try to locate playgroups and extracurricular activities for her to participate in next fall. Prior to homeschooling, our daughter attended an area Lutheran grade school and was able to complete the 4th grade with the help of an IEP. Although she concluded this grade level, she only attended school three hours per day as her anxiety was far too great. Thank you for your help!
