I have a question on averages. This I think is more a mathematical question than an EXCEL question. Here goes, I have a spreadsheet where I do daily ratios using two numbers, I sum then up and did a weekly average. Next I thought I did it another way. I used the average weekly value of two numbers (ratio) and getting an different answer. Why? Shouldn't this be the same? I am assuming I need someone who knows College Algebra on this matter. This is all I need help.
