About the job
We are looking for a patient and encouraging tutor to work one-on-one with our bright 12-year-old, currently in 6th grade. The primary focus will be improving reading, writing, and spelling skills, along with providing support for executive functioning. Helping with organization, task management, and turning in assignments on time. The ideal candidate is someone who: Has experience working with middle school students Is familiar with strategies to strengthen executive functioning skills Can create a positive, motivating learning environment Is dependable, organized, and communicative
