About the job
Grapevine family needs a part-time tutor to assist my third grade son with reading, writing, spelling (phonetics and sounding words out) & math. My 10-year-old son has autism and is academically well below his grade level, but he is well behaved and has a desire to learn. Ideally looking for someone with some experience working with Autistic kids, but not an absolute requirement. Most important attributes we are looking for is patience, perseverance, consistency (shows up on time and has time to work with him) & someone that can be creative & adopt learning strategies to best suite a kid with autism. Willing to pay some extra for someone that is able to get results and make a difference. Thanks everyone.
