8th grade algebra always confused me when I went to school and my son is on a little different time schedule than the rest of his class. He falls behind so quickly so when the teacher is going over a lesson that's week's ahead of where he's at it just confuses him more than it helps and we end up trying to learn it together at home and that not only takes hours a day, but is sometimes more damaging than helpful.
