Brooklyn family needs a part-time tutor for Special Education, English, Math. Looking for a tutor for our 11year old son with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Brooklyn. The ideal match will be a person with a degree is special education and experience. He is a very kind young boy whom gets very nervous about homework. Reading and writing and math. Which will usually be one or the other. Example Wednesday is writing and Thursday is Math. I would prefer someone who understands stemming and how to navigate a child with autism. He does articulate himself very well and stems by waving his hands. I would start with once a week to until I find out right fit and then would increase to twice a week. Summer time I would like to have 3 times a week.
