Riverdale family. Child is 7, in second grade and in a self contained class. 1 hour two days per week to start. Struggling with decoding, letter sounds and recognition and math. Very emotional and often doubts her ability and self worth. Needs someone caring but stern. Days could increase depending on need, progress and tutor availability. Looking for entire school year support. Homework help needed but not prioritized if tutor has their own education plan that can be modified to follow what the child is currently working on in school. Start time 2:30 p.m. preferred. To minimize distractions. Space at home is small and other child comes home at 3:30 p.m. Letters of recommendation a must. Experience working with autistic children a must.
