My son is heading to 2nd grade and reads at a below average level. He has difficulty sounding out words, right now he is aware there is a problem and wants to do better, he wants to work. I want to capitalize on his willingness before reading becomes frustrating and a larger issue. I would like someone in education to work with him. I will only have him for the summer until around the end of July, he is in the SC education system.
