Part-time Math And Science Tutor Wanted For New 6th Grader

About the job

We're looking for a tutor who has experience in elementary and middle school math. Preferably someone who is skilled in creating studying guides and has patience to clearly explain before moving on to new subjects. Also someone who can assist in strengthening critical thinking and sentence structures for problem solving and writing papers. Julianna is a sweet and empathetic girl entering 6th grade who is desiring to improve her studying habits and understanding for her next grade. She asks questions but does find it uncomfortable to ask all the questions she has on my mind. Her strengths are in science, art, and dance. The goal is to fully understand 5th grade math proficiently to feel prepared for 6th grade. She likes to learn by trying to replicate multiple questions to build confidence in her answers on her own. It can be both but at least once a week in person. We have a drive way and on street parking.
