The unit concepts we are studying right now are focused on using proportions to solve problems, and there has been a preview of linear relationships as well, to help prepare us for the linear algebra unit and to visualize proportional relationships when graphed. The skills pages S has each week are primarily 5th and 6th grade concrete math that is foundational for 7th grade content: percents, fractions, order of ops, operations with decimals and rational numbers, both positive and negative. We are just beginning to practice solving for unknowns as well, also in preparation for the upcoming linear algebra unit
