New Job in Miami, to set up and run a manufacturing facility. Owner is Cuban, employees are mostly Cuban and some South American. Very few anglo speakers. I have been able to manage so far but it is slowing us down and I need to be able to communicate with everyone. A fairly high amount of technical terminology, but I can research that and frankly much doesn't even translate. I really want to be able to understand what is going on around me, follow conversations that are not being translated or directed toward me. We are planning to move there in 2025 and a non tourist English only speaker in South Florida is NOT going to last long.
