This would be for tutoring after school and hopefully sometime involve his homework, if he has any. He has never had a tutor, but we have had to seek extra help in school when he was learning to read in 1st and 2nd grade because he struggled. And of course with Covid, things were even more difficult because he didn't go to school very long for kindergarten, then classes were only online for the next 2 years. He is now in fifth grade and he can read, but does not like to. He knows how to write complete sentences when he actually tries, but has trouble with reading comprehension then writing, and also spelling and just focusing on reading / writing tasks in general. Mon - Thur is not a hard requirement. Would like to start 1 - 2 days a week; our weekday evenings are flexible. How long each session should be is also open for suggestions.
