Babysitter/Tutor Needed For Summer In Baton Rouge For A 6 Year Old Entering First Grade.

Our 6-year-old recently completed a 14 month treatment for pediatric cancer. Her kindergarten year was completed remotely and with part time tutors. We are looking for a babysitter to watch her and help her get up to speed on her reading and writing skills in anticipation of starting first grade in person in the fall. Ideal candidate has experience in childhood education and has experience in helping teach the basics of phonics, site word recognition, and helping us to instill a love for learning. Our daughter is extremely bright and has fantastic verbal skills but the lack of classroom structure while she was receiving treatment has created a need for additional focused learning over the summer. 1 parent will be working remotely in the home while the tutor is present and can accommodate schedule flexibility.
