Looking for a tutor in Chicago to support our 7th-grade granddaughter with math, reading, and pronunciation. She's bright but needs extra guidance, especially in math fundamentals, reading comprehension, and pronouncing sounds like the hard "r" in words such as "water." We're looking for someone experienced with middle school students, preferably with a background in special education. The ideal tutor will be patient, adaptable, and able to build a customized learning plan. Starting with 2-3 one-hour sessions per week to help her make steady progress.
