My son is in 5th grade. Hes autistic and very bright with math. However that means his reading skills are weaker. He doesnt do inference well due to social disability. He doesnt like to read. Reading comprehension is not easy. He also has auditory processing disorder so listening to others read can be hard for him to understand as well. He makes great grades so far but as he gets older and gets into more in-depth reading we want him to be successful and confident which is why we are reaching out.
