Special Needs Teacher/therapy/care. 20-25 Hours Afternoons.

Looking for experienced person to provide tutoring and care for my 10-year-old with ASD. Ideal candidate has a flexible approach and would have several years of direct experience working with special needs in a school or therapy setting. Client is verbal and works at approximately 3rd grade level. Primary responsibilities include: Engaging him in preferred activities including arts & crafts, cooking, projects Coming up with small lessons (10-15 min in STEM or social studies to do 1-2x/ week. Taking him to his math/English tutor 2x/ week Working with mom to come up with creative ideas to engage and encourage him across academic, social and therapeutic skills. Hourly wage is negotiated depending on experience. 3 months is trial if decided to be permanent, a contract would be offered including paid holidays and PTO.
