Reading Specialist For First Grader

Looking for a reading specialist/tutor for my son who is in first grade but having some challenges with reading at the appropriate grade level. He tries hard but isn't able to make out the words. He also needs more practice and someone with patience and skill to help. Thank you Skills/experience required: familiarity with helping kids learn how to read, patient, fun, approachable, reading specialist What you should know about the student: he is in first grade but reading on a kindergartner level. Sometimes he's shy and has problems with phonics/sounding out the words. He guesses instead of sounding out the word. He likes to have fun while learning and does well if there aren't distractions. Prefer the tutor comes to our home to meet with our child in person. You can park in our driveway or on the street in front of our home.
