The child has speech apraxia. Due to this issue, he is very far behind and reading and math are at a first-grade level. He has 95% teacher help while in the classroom and has a speech pathologist twice a week. We are looking for someone once a week to help out with the short summer break he has. He will be attending summer school, but we have to assume there will still be 3-4 weeks without being in a classroom. He is in 4th grade now at Challenger 7 and will be repeating.
