Help My Soon To Be 3rd Grader Get Better And More Comfortable With Reading

My son is a great kid and is so smart but reading causes a lot of frustration for him. He'll sometimes start crying as soon as he knows he has to read but eventually after long pep talks he'll get it done. I'm hoping to find someone blessed in the expertise to help my son excel In his reading more. He's in 2nd grade and did not do pre-k or anything so I felt like he had a slight behind start. Please any beautiful patience kind soul willing to help me and my son with his reading 2nd grade and 3rd grade reading . Patience and understanding 7 years old almost 8 and struggles with reading his 2nd grade level. He gets frustrated when reading and often cries but has all the building blocks needed he just needs extra assistance I feel as a mom I am not providing properly. Activities.
