My wife and I have been using Babbel daily for several months now and while we've learned a lot (Babbel says we're now in the B1 course which based on my understanding the the levels, seems generous), we struggle to put together sentences ourselves and to understand French spoken by others. We also feel like we have many holes in our knowledge (we're both in our sixties so some of this is just knowledge falling out of age-created holes) and we think we'd really benefit from in person lessons and being able to get answers to specific questions we have.
