Very intelligent 6. 5-year-old girl who is struggling with the skills of social connection. We want to hire someone who likes kids, is naturally outgoing, extroverted, and a good conversationalist. There will be training for the rest. Great opportunity for someone thinking about going into psychology or education. Things you'll work on - modeling 'how was your day' type of conversation - helping identify and talk about emotions and feelings - pointing out social cues - otherwise playing, hanging out and doing puzzles, crafts, reading or whatever the two of you like. Ideally, the person would be female and young-ish, so high school or college age. As her parents, we are supportive and will be around to help. You'd meet at our house in the Mission 2-3 days a week for 3 hours each time. Pay $40/hr
