Sacramento family needs a part-time tutor for Math & reading. Looking for a tutor with special education background for our 6-year-old daughter. She is currently in first grade but severely behind academically. She is currently in a special education class, but we feel she needs extra one on one instruction to get her caught up academically. She needs help with letter and number recognition. Needs to work on sight words and CVC words. About A: She is a loving, energetic girl who loves to give hugs. She is speech delayed using 2-3-word sentences and echolalia. She is a gestalt language learner. A. has a rare gene mutation called IQSEC2 gene mutation. Due to this gene mutation, she is developmentally delayed, has autistic like behaviors and has epilepsy. Seizures are controlled with medication.
