We are looking for a warm, responsible, and engaging after-school sitter/nanny for our 6-year-old son in Redwood City. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children, enjoys fostering their curiosity, and can create a structured yet fun after-school routine based on their interests. Responsibilities: - Pick up from school (just a 3-minute walk from home) - Provide healthy snacks - Assist with homework - Engage him in meaningful, educational activities - Plan fun, interest-based projects that incorporate subjects like math, art, and science Ideal Candidate: - Patient, kind, and reliable - Passionate about child development and learning - Creative in engaging children through their interests - Experience working with elementary-aged children - Ability to drive & good driving record (for occasional outings)
