Looking For A Study Skills, ELA Tutor In Los Alamitos For 2nd Grader

Hi! We are looking for a tutor for our 2nd grader. Ideally 2x/week after school. He needs extra 1:1 support, particularly in the ELA realm. He can get overwhelmed in loud settings, so we'd want to have you work with him privately in our home. He has been doing group tutoring but we feel he needs a different type of help. He is a thoughtful, bright, hard working child with many interests that he will love to share with you! He is meeting grade level standards in math, but needs help improving his writing, reading, spelling, and speaking/listening skills. He can especially use assistance with time management tactics as he tends to have perfectionist tendencies in addition to a strong will. We have an indoor cat, so please be aware if you have any allergies. We also have a 4th grader and a 1-year-old who may be home during this time.
