My son is in third grade. We have struggled with reading comprehension as well as writing. Currently, he is to understand and provide writing for three distinctive categories for his grade level, which are; Opinion, Informative, and Narrative. I believe he has the ability to grasp this at a fairly rapid pace, but his blockers are getting in between him at this time. Not to mention, they are getting in between him and I.
