My son is in Kindergarten, he unfortunately did not attend pre-k or any other schooling or prep before kindergarten and is struggling to learn. He needs a lot more one on one time as speaking with his teacher and knowing my son, this is what he needs. He gets frustrated very early but loves to get the right answers as we celebrate them. He can count to 15, knows how to say his alphabet but only knows about 7 letters if asked what they are. We are working with sounding out his words right now and very basic math. He also seems to not retain information well, not sure if it is schooling, but personally the boy remembers everything else.
