My son is supposed to be a seventh grader but is actually in sixth grade now. He reads at At about a fourth grade level and is still getting a hang of his multiplications. He fell very far behind during covid and after that it was just like he stopped trying, And that caused him to fall further and further behind. He now attends school Which is a lot different than a Public school with a lot more work and I feel like he has Absolutely just given up but I know he still cares I can see how proud he gets when he does do good and how disappointed he gets when he doesn't. His teachers all agree its mainly his confidence And him thinking hes too far behind. His main issues are reading, studying, and math.
