About the job
My 17-year-old daughter needs someone to care for her while I am gone. My husband will be home, working from his office. He can help in urgent matters, but can't take on the moment to moment needs. My daughter has a lot of sensitivities: noise, light, fragrances. It's best if her caregiver doesn't wear any products that contain fragrance including lotion, hair products, perfume, and fabric softener. She is mostly bedbound and will need assistance with most things. Tasks would include prepping/warming up food, setting her up with art supplies, helping her put on medical devices like leg squeezers, helping her transfer to her bedside commode, and giving her supplements and medications. She loves her 2 dwarf rabbits whose cage is in her room. She also loves the color purple, reading, writing, and painting.
