About the job
We are a family of a single parent and two special needs adults. I am looking for a caregiver for my son. My son is a 27-year-old, bright young man with an outgoing personality. He loves all kinds of music and sports. He uses a power wheelchair for mobility. He is limited in walking independently and performing two-handed tasks and needs help. We're looking for someone who has some experience in caregiving, be responsible, attentive, and enjoys helping others. Training for tasks will be provided. CPR and First Aid are required. Please provide a current driver's license and auto insurance. The job description includes transporting him to training twice a week and to adaptive fitness once a week in the family accessible van. Meal prep, laundry, personal hygiene, and toileting are some of the tasks.
