About the job
I am looking for some weekend help primarily for my 4 yr old son who is nonverbal autistic. I have a nanny for the weekdays but I'm struggling on weekends as a single parent with the addition of my 3 yr old daughter. My son is constantly on the go, and tends to run out of the house without warning, climbs, or plays with any water source. He doesn't speak often much but he does have an AAC device he is learning to communicate with. He is potty trained but still has accidents. I will often be here too but need help keeping up with him so I can do all the other things that need to get done on the weekend. It would also be nice to have someone come with me when I take them places like the zoo or playground because it's often too difficult to do with both kids. Experience with kids with autism preferred. Hours flexible.
