Looking for a part-time caregiver for our 19-year-old young adult family member. Our son is non-ambulatory and has limited verbal expression, but he loves to smile, laugh, and go on wheelchair walks. An individual does not need a medical background to be a care giver for our son. We will train for everything he needs - which is mostly hanging out with him, ensuring he is comfortable, changing him, giving him tube feedings and doing some brain stimulating activities (like reading him books, going on walks, watching movies & asking questions, telling jokes, etc). All you need is a positive attitude, confidence, loyal heart and willingness to get to know our son. We are looking for care Friday, Saturday & Sundays. We are flexible on days & timing, but are looking in the ballpark of noon-8 p.m. on Friday/Saturday & Sunday noon-6 p.m.
