About the job
Our son is 9 y/o and autistic (without intellectual disability, Type 1) and ADHD and needs a safe, calm, enthusiastic, encouraging caregiver to be a cheerful playmate and to help him regulate his nervous system if he becomes anxious. Our family values include: inclusion, celebration of uniqueness, encouraging everyone to be their authentic selves, valuing all people, and actively learning about others. He loves videography, gaming, and the history of cinema/cartoons/character creation. Our son needs a calm, fun, enthusiastic playmate who encourages him in his special interests. He needs a caregiver who actively engages him unless he asks for time, and who will give him their attention and presence. We have a driveway and there is street parking. We have a puppy that is a Bichon Frisée (small, white, curly dog) who is very sweet.
